I do feel rather as though I am living a parallel life at the moment - what is my normal, uninjured self doing? Right now I would probably be out in my waterproofs on a soggy walk with Mr H. and Django, since the awful forecast was accurate ;-)
In my present, parallel life I spend most of my time in the house, so here are some photos from my environment...
Your challenge is to spot the oddity ;-)
I wanted this the other way around because it looked more interesting... but Blogger keeps automatically rotating it! |
very cool pictures...the first one and the last one are my favourits
ReplyDeleteOh I love your parallel life! Don't you hate it when the Weatherman is right though? Outstanding photos taken especially for this! I too have issues with photos and blogger, but keeps life upside down right? A challenge YaY! hmmm chrome bars featuring Django and the awesome vet invention! Do tell me is there more? I know, like what are those chrome bars? I can spot the diamond design in the carpet perhaps? Let me know if I still have to solve your challenge! Great posting! Thanks so much, Karen
ReplyDeleteKaren, a good effort but wrong! And I realised I was a bit misleading, the challenge involves all the photos, so I have moved the text to the top...
ReplyDelete~Juniper~
Mr H. says I have now confused things even more with my comment. The oddity is in ONE of the 4 photos.
ReplyDeleteAnd Karen I'm not sure whether you got the challenge or not now either.. aaaggghh!! ;-)
#1 is odd.
ReplyDeleteI know I'm missing it, too, but the door in the top photo is, like, a foot off the floor!
ReplyDeleteThe pipes (they ARE pipes, right?) at the bottom are stupendous, too. Nice to know your photographic chops are unaffected by what happened to your bones :)
Delightful contribs to this theme. I really enjoy your work behind the lens.
Carmi, thanks for the kind words, I'm glad you like my photos!
ReplyDeleteYou and JJ are right, it's #1. I accidentally rotated it the wrong way and and though whoah that's interesting, it looks like it's flipped it back to front; but it's just upside down. [Hence Karen I wasn't sure if you had got that, from your comment!] The 2nd door is a little way off the ground in real life so I didn't notice that straight away. I thought it looked kind of cool that way round ;-)
The last picture is the heated towel rail in the bathroom.

A towel rail ... how cool, and I love the little bits of color in it. And BOOKS! Great catch. I never thought of that I should have.
ReplyDeleteI like the first one quite a bit, but why is the photo upside down? It gives a great feel like you are walking through a strange maze of a house. I feel the black and white makes this picture, something I feel I need to use more often. I want to agree about the stairs, I think they would look more interesting on their side. Thanks for the views.
ReplyDeleteIt's upside down by accident, if you look at a previous comment I explained.. and it does make it look more interesting. It is only our preconceptions that say it is wrong ;-)
ReplyDeleteI do like black and white, though it doesn't work for everything of course.
Glad you liked the shots.
