Six Word Saturday

I just discovered Six Word Saturday at Show My Face,  (via Sass at Are you Sassified?)

Living the reality; daring to dream

How many times do you hear "I'm Living the Dream"?   well I'm not right now, I gotta be honest.

One of our friends once suggested we name our house 'Field of Dreams' because we do a lot of it here; anything from large scale (moving to Scotland) to transient (visiting our friends in New Zealand) to small (fixing the drive).

Right now, I'm satisfied with living my current reality the best I can; but that doesn't mean I'm not still dreamin'....

Mr H. and the bonnie, bonnie banks of Loch Lomond..

  1. I haven't heard it in awhile... I thought I was living it a few years ago...then it dissipated...

  2. I wish that I was living my dream...Right now I'm in that transition between dreams I suppose.

  3. Juniper: You are a very interesting human being, and you are helping me to live out my dream. I do admit the silhouette in the picture does not do you justice, but there are better times ahead.

  4. I found making dreams come true is 10% dreaming and 90% hard graft.

  5. JJ: ha that's not me, that's Mr H., out on site above Loch Lomond (it goes with the 'moving to Scotland' dream)

CJ: yep you're right, dreams don't just happen..

And what a good thing, this dreaming---

  7. Mel, it wasn't that colour originally... but like this it reflects more of how I was feeling while I was writing.

  8. Dreams and reality never seem to quite match up. I've had many dreams that have come true in my life but there's always a part of me that isn't completely satisfied. Maybe we all have that because it keeps us dreaming?

  9. "living the dream" is something my boss says too many times a day, less is better right? his new line, brought out at Monday's meeting, and now scribbled across the white board, "Warm and fuzzy!" and a silly picture with it...it's all about treating our customers, "warm and fuzzy" like something Elmo would say...if you know who Elmo the little red furry creature! ;)

  10. Joey: every time a dream reaches fruition a new one is right there to fill its place!

Karen: warm and fuzzy? seriously? how CAN you take that seriously.. My boss used to use lots of stock phrases but seems to have calmed down on them now; didn't stop us mixing and matching 'singing from the same hymn sheet' 'we don't want a pissing contest' and 'let's run it up the flag pole and see how it flies', oh and soupbowls (don't ask, very specialist to our work). You can imagine ;-)

If you prefer to just read, appreciate and then move on, that's fine too :-)
