How I am attempting to cure my mood:
1. Switch off my work computer.
2. Ask friend if we can make it another day please.
3. Take Django outside for a walk round the garden and fill up the bird feeders. Watching birds can bring a smile to my face no matter how down I am.
4. Light the woodburner.
5. Make a cup of tea.
6. Sit in front of woodburner with shoes off, reading about Homo erectus.
It's working so far...
hmmmm, not a chocolate lover? I sometimes wrap aluminum foil around a bag of (Yummy) semi-sweet chocolate morsels and hide it in the back of the refrigerator just to be sure I have a dose at the ready!...it works for me! Love the evolution of man....is your photo part of your next assignment?
ReplyDeleteYay for squashing the bugs in your mood!

Karen: no I'm afraid I am a mutant woman who doesn't automatically turn to chocolate. Especially not since the jeans-label-changing incident! I've even got over my Minstrel phase - I've had an unopened packet on my coffee table for 2 weeks now...
ReplyDeleteJust reading the words Homo erectus brought a smile to my face! :D
ReplyDeleteI'm a bit pissed off today too.
Karen, sort of - been reading about evolution, natural and sexual selection; moving on now to the evolving of Theory of Mind (essentially being able to 'walk in another man's mocassins' - I drew a man with mocassins in the margin!) and altruism.
ReplyDeleteNo time to get bored, that's for sure! :-)
Joey, every little bit helps...
ReplyDeleteSadly my de-bugging is no longer an option. Used to sit curled up on the sofa reading a book all day, now I have a toddler and I have to put on the I'm OK face and hope I don't meet any annoying bus drivers.
ReplyDeleteWow--nothing like taking matters into your own hands.
ReplyDeleteGood girl!!
And you were sent an intervention.
Awwww.....how wonderful is that?!
:-)
