Carmi's latest thematic-photographic theme is letters and numbers, and my submission is one that shows some that are going to dominate my life somewhat over the next 9 months...

  2. Haha! it's just something another blogger does - has a theme and people take photos and post a link to them. I've only just started doing it.

  5. I am taking psychology currently and I know for a fact that I couldn't major in it. Not that I can't understand the material, but the lengthy writing of papers. My professor had us started writing a research paper on the first week of class! We didn't even have a lecture yet!

  6. T.A.D.: That sounds like a great plan for putting you off the subject!

Yes there are a few essays involved, and an exam at the end. But I got used to essay writing in my 1st year which was Social Sciences.

  7. Essays are both dreams and reality. They are fun!

Psychology? Not so much. We happy folks know we're nuts. We need not know why.

  9. @JJ - it's the only subject that after a few evening classes etc. I've taken the remotest interest in doing a degree in!

At college I was into history and english. I considered History of the English Language degree at one point.

Basically right now, I just want to learn :-)

  11. Friends: I took Psychology too. It is terrific. I enjoyed it very much, and I am not knocking it in any way. When I write, I attempt to be sincere. I do not believe it is religion. In fact, as an archetypal critic, I study Carl Jung extensively. I do fear adherence to someone else's philosophy, especially when we are vulnerable. Also, I do not have a thin skin, so if you disagree, please feel free to cut me up within the boundaries of decency. That's how I learn. Thanks.

  12. JJ: Chill.. you have crossed no boundaries, we are here to discuss, agree, and on occasion perhaps not ;-)

Incidentally, after reading one chapter, about ethics, I'd virtually changed my mind and decided the criminology would be better than worrying about upsetting research participants for the next 5 years; I will no doubt flip-flop my decision all the way through this year, because I'm like that ;-)
