BONs

I just glanced through the Blogs of Note for the first time in months.

Is it me, or... well I just don't get them.  I find them either weird or uninteresting (compared with the ones in my favourites list anyway).   And one of them hasn't been posted on since 2010, I guess whoever chose it missed that little detail.  Or maybe the whole concept has just gone tits-up (as they say)

    I totally agree. I check them pretty regularly, but I can count on the fingers of one hand (with several fingers left over) the number that I've found interesting enough to follow in the past year or so. I wonder if they gave up a while ago and have just started pulling names out of a hat or something.

    Used to check 'em. But much like you, I discovered I do a good 'nuff job of locating BON myself!

    I sometimes wonder what's wrong with the people that choose the BON's. In the almost a year I've been doing this I've found exactly 2 blogs that were remotely interesting (although, I will say that both are really incredible).

    I've much better luck going through my favorite bloggers blog rolls.

    From what I read, they just randomly pick the BON. No special reason except to advertise the different blogs.
