TP 202: Series

For this week's Thematic Photographic, Carmi has chosen a different tack with 'Series', and has started us of with some fantastic shots of his own!

I have chosen this series of photos of me walking across Sandwood Bay in the far north west of Scotland, last week. I love how the footprints become more important than the person who made them... a reflection of life perhaps?

  1. I see what you mean about the footprints. You become a dot in the background, smaller than your own footprints in the foreground. Excellent choice.

  2. This works really well! I can totally put myself into a series such as this - me, a beach, and a dog: perfect. Great series, Juniper.

  3. Great idea; it would have been even better closer to the sea with the water washing away the prints. But that would take some patience I think.

  4. Bob, that would have taken staging, and this wasn't - I didn't realise he was taking the pictures!

  7. I love the footprints and, like you said, they become the focus as we go through the pictures. Fun!

  8. Footprints in the sand...I stayed at a place by that name in Jamaica once.

Dog is a good idea, too, Alexia.
